Matt joined the Mau Marine team in 2007. Growing up here he has enjoyed everything Okoboji has to offer for many years. Being a native to the area, Matt, really appreciates all the memories to be made in the summers while boating with family and friends. It is those memories that get Matt and his team excited when seeing a family starting their boating adventure and knowing that they are going to have that same experience to look forward to.
Lee joined the Mau Marine sales team in 2004! He moved here from a little town just west of Brookings called Volga, South Dakota. He attended SDSU (Go Jacks) and moved here a few years after graduation. Lee and his wife, Janelle, and their two beautiful daughters, Josie and Sadie, reside in Spirit Lake. They all share a passion for summer and boating! One of his favorite things is being able to help someone get into their boating lifestyle and understand all of the memories they will be making on the water!
Growing up on the water, boating has been a passion of his as long as he can remember. Kyle attended college at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Kyle joined the Mau Marine team in 2011 and began seasonally before starting his career full time. When Kyle isn't helping out clients you can find him wakeboarding and surfing behind his Tige 23ZX.
Tommy joined the Mau Marine staff in May of 2017 after a long career in sales and finance. His values line up with Mau Marine's mission of consistently exceeding customers' expectations. Tommy knows that the boating lifestyle is the perfect way to bring family and friends together to create lifelong memories whether its enjoying a sunset cruise, reeling in a great catch, or surfing on the amazing waters of The Iowa Great Lakes. When out of the office you can find him enjoying boating fun with his two daughters Taylor and Emma. Tommy's favorite hangouts in the lakes area are The Okoboji Store and Zeke's Bait Shop (of course!).
Parker Hays joined the crew at Mau Marine in 2018 with a sales internship. He is currently attending Buena Vista to pursue a degree in business administration. Growing up driving boats, Parker is happy to work in the sales department helping his customers build memories out on the water with their friends and family. Parker’s passion for boating, plays a role with the Antique and Classic Wood Boat Show that is held annually on the docks of Arnolds Park. When Parker is not at work, he enjoys cruising the shorelines of Okoboji with his friends and family.
Brent, an Iowa Great Lakes native, brings his 30+ years of sales, marketing and finance experience to the Mau Marine. Brent joined the Mau Marine team in April of 2019. Brent sells "peace of mind" for Mau Marines boat owners by providing them with affordable financing options and service solutions tailored to each individual's needs. In his spare time, Brent is an avid boater, golfer, hunter, cook, husband to Missy and father to Jacob and Sydney. He is semi-famous for dominating the annual cooking competitions at the Clay County Fair, so be sure to ask him for his current, favorite recipe!

alex@maumarine.comAlex started out as a merchandise intern in 2018 and quickly realized his love for sales. Having spent most summers here in Okoboji, it was always a dream of his to work in the marine industry. Alex loves surfing in the summer as well as scuba diving and biking around the lakes. In the winter, he is an avid downhill skier and loves to ice fish. He knows the importance of making lasting memories on and off the water. In his free time you will be able to find him on the boat with friends or having a meal at The Okoboji Store.

connor@maumarine.comConnor came to Mau Marine in the summer of 2022 as a seasonal employee. He joined the Mau Sales team in January 2024 after a short career of minor pro Hockey in Poland. Connor is from Iowa City and Has enjoyed spending his summers in Okoboji since 2014.
