Busser
Position Summary: Bussers assist our bar and wait staff to create an outstanding dining experience for our customers. Bussers' primary duties include setting tables with clean linens and silverware and removing soiled dishes, glassware and silverware from the tables. Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, and restrooms and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dining tables by removing dirty dishes, sanitizing the surface, and resetting with clean silverware, napkin linens, and condiments
- Ensuring the facility is clean before, during, and after shifts by sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, clearing full garbages, taking dirty dish tubs to the dish pit, and maintaining outdoor areas
- Provide support to the wait staff by rolling silverware, filling condiments such as ketchup and mustard, portioning dressings and sauces, keeping busser stations clean and tidy, and placing menus in appropriate spaces
Requirements:
- Ability to promote outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with our guests
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment
- Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to present oneself in a professional and friendly manner
- Previous restaurant and bar experience not required
