Matt joined the Mau Marine team in 2007. Growing up here he has enjoyed everything Okoboji has to offer for many years. Being a native to the area, Matt, really appreciates all the memories to be made in the summers while boating with family and friends. It is those memories that get Matt and his team excited when seeing a family starting their boating adventure and knowing that they are going to have that same experience to look forward to.
Lee joined the Mau Marine sales team in 2004! He moved here from a little town just west of Brookings called Volga, South Dakota. He attended SDSU (Go Jacks) and moved here a few years after graduation. Lee and his wife, Janelle, and their two beautiful daughters, Josie and Sadie, reside in Spirit Lake. They all share a passion for summer and boating! One of his favorite things is being able to help someone get into their boating lifestyle and understand all of the memories they will be making on the water!
Tommy joined the Mau Marine staff in May of 2017 after a long career in sales and finance. His values line up with Mau Marine's mission of consistently exceeding customers' expectations. Tommy knows that the boating lifestyle is the perfect way to bring family and friends together to create lifelong memories whether its enjoying a sunset cruise, reeling in a great catch, or surfing on the amazing waters of The Iowa Great Lakes. When out of the office you can find him enjoying boating fun with his two daughters Taylor and Emma. Tommy's favorite hangouts in the lakes area are The Okoboji Store and Zeke's Bait Shop (of course!).

connor@maumarine.comConnor came to Mau Marine in the summer of 2022 as a seasonal employee. He joined the Mau Sales team in January 2024 after a short career of minor pro Hockey in Poland. Connor is from Iowa City and Has enjoyed spending his summers in Okoboji since 2014.
Joe is a native of northwest Iowa and cultivated an affinity for the water early in life. His love for Okoboji led him to spend his college summers as a local waterski instructor, boat captain, and lake guide. After graduating from Iowa State University in 2017, he began his sales career out west in Colorado before returning home to Arnolds Park to pursue a career in the boating industry. Here at Mau Marine, Joe is dedicated to helping families create memories on the lake that will last a lifetime. Outside of the office, Joe can be found soaking up the sun in Millers Bay or searching for his golf ball in the trees at the local course.
Thad Bohbot joined Mau Marine as Finance Manager in 2024, bringing expertise in helping customers navigate the boat-buying process with ease. Passionate about the boating lifestyle, he’s committed to providing seamless financing solutions so you can spend less time on paperwork and more time on the water.

brooklynn@maumarine.comBrooklynn grew up spending summers in Okoboji and began her career at Mau Marine on the gas dock, making her return full circle. With experience in sales and finance, she brings a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to helping customers find the right boat and enjoy their time on the water.
Originally from Colorado, Parker relocated to Okoboji in September 2024 with his wife, Alex, and has been embracing lake life ever since. He’s quickly fallen in love with everything the Iowa Great Lakes have to offer—especially being out on the water.
