Weather Promotion Rules and Conditions
1. Any individual who purchases an eligible boat at the Mau Marine, Inc. store location during sale hours of December 1, 2025 through December 10, 2025 at 5 p.m. is entitled to the defined cash refund or rebate (excluding sales tax) if the following specified weather peril occurs between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 12 midnight on December 24, 2025: A total of six inches or more of recorded snowfall during the specified time period will provide the eligible customer with a 100% refund; a total of five but less than six inches of recorded snowfall during the specified time will provide the eligible customer with a 2/3rds refund; a total of four but less than five inches of recorded snowfall during the specified time period will provide the eligible customer with a 1/3rd refund.
NOTE: In the case of a trade-in transaction, the amount refunded will be based on the difference between the amount of the trade-in and the purchase price of the new boat (EXAMPLE: A boat being purchased at a sale price of $30,000 of which $6,000 is applied against the customer’s trade-in, requires a customer payment of an additional $24,000; any refund will be based on the appropriate percentage of the additional $24,000 paid by the customer and not the total price of the new boat).
2. All merchandise purchased must be paid in full by the end of the promotion in order to be eligible for a refund.
3. The weather peril will be measured at KUOO Radio, 2160 18th St., Spirit Lake, IA 51360. Weather data will not be given to customers who call the weather station.
4. The customer must agree to No Cash Refunds on returns during this special promotion. Once the merchandise is purchased, the sale is final. However, merchandise may be exchanged for other merchandise of equal value.
5. In order to receive a full refund, the following procedures must be strictly followed:
A. The original sales receipt must be presented along with a form of identification, and
B. A refund will be given only to the original purchaser.
If, for any reason, the above “refund procedure” is not followed, a refund will not be granted.
6. The store reserves the right to stop this promotion at any time and only honor those purchases made prior to the cancellation of the promotion.
7. Employees of Mau Marine, Inc., and employees of their major suppliers are not eligible.
8. No purchase necessary.
